Tobacco Free Coalition of Santa Clara County

The Tobacco Free Coalition of Santa Clara County is a diverse community-based group representing professional, voluntary and community groups. Staffed by TPEP, this coalition provides community input to assist in efforts to reduce and/or prevent tobacco use in Santa Clara County.

Mission:

The Tobacco Free Coalition works to improve the health of all Santa Clara County residents by:
· Changing community attitudes about tobacco use
· Reducing the use of tobacco
· Reducing exposure to secondhand smoke

The Coalition accomplishes its mission through prevention and education activities and community involvement.

The Coalition meets quarterly during the fourth Monday of the month (February 23, 2009, May 18, 2009, August 24, 2009, November 23,2009). Coalition meetings begin at 3:00 PM and is located at the Santa Clara County Medical Association 700 Empey Way in San Jose, CA 95128.
