The Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention Division sponsored a Policy Forum (May 24, 2010), attended by local policy makers, community leaders, advocates, and prevention and wellness experts, to discuss city and county ordinances and state legislation to support the prevention of chronic disease. Presenters discussed best strategies for creating healthier communities through organizational and policy change.
