Real life examples can often provide insight about how emergency risk communications will work during an event. While the following case scenarios are from real situations we have faced in our community, many of these events have been false alarms. Regardless, our response is based on our philosophy – “treat it as if it is real until we know otherwise”. Because of this, these case scenario events have been invaluable in guiding our preparedness efforts.
